In Elementry school I was making mix tapes on actual cassette tapes. While my carpenter grandfather was trying to teach me a different kinda skill with my hands. I had an early love for the MC and DJ’s showcasing new artist. In high school I really started to make a name for throwing parties that everyone attended. It was there I was also introduced to HTML & video production with classmate Steven Chen (Youtube founder).
A couple years later I graduated from Devry as the youngest in my class. I then spent 3 years traveling North America as a Systems Engineer. At 20 years old, working on X-Ray machines & laboratory Chemical Analyzers.
Somehow I even found time to open up majority of Chicago suburb skate parks, with RollerBlade. I did X-Games style exhibitions and then taught all the kids how to skate. It was by far the coolest job ever.
At 23, I started to DJ on the weekends, landing a job with one of Chicago’s premier entertainment groups. In order to expand my global reach, I teamed up with some developers in the Philippines to create an online radio platform. After 12 months, the project generated 1 million unique global visitors per month. Capturing advertising interest from a few corporate brands.
I decided to focus my career on managing and scaling SaaS platforms. When Steve Chen received nearly $400 million from his Youtube IPO in 2006. These days, I bring over 10 years of experience monetizing brands online. Managing eCommerce and eProcurement B2B/B2C business channels. I’m also a Scrum certified product Owner.
In my personal time I compete in Chicago’s annual Triathlon, Ragbrai (Bike ride across Iowa). Which means I follow a similar “lean routine” when it comes to my health.
Often donating my time & experience to connect local businesses to a global marketplace.
